Rules





Maximum of 10 players per team

Goal height is 10ft
Five second lane violations
Only two timeouts allowed per half
Free throw is 10ft from basket. Player may land over line.
Players will be rotated equally during first 2 quarters. Coach’s decision for 2nd half.
No player can play 4 quarters unless the roster is less than 7 players. No player may play 4 quarters until all others have played 4 quarters.
Game length 4-10 minute quarters.
Time will be running clock except for time outs and the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter when clock will stop for free throws, any violations and time outs, unless lead is 20+points. Clock will stop for all technical fouls.
Players foul out on the 5th foul.
Teams will shoot 1 and 1 at the 7th team foul per half,2 free throws at 10th team fouls per half.
No stalling or isolation plays. 5 seconds to begin to advance ball past Rule 16 line. 1st isolation violation is a warning, 2nd is an unsporting direct tech foul charged to the head coach.
Zone defense allowed. Double team and steals are allowed.
Full Court Press allowed (9UA)
No back court defense allowed (9UB).
Defense must back up to the half court line. Once the ball crosses this line, no restrictions. A dead ball resets this rule.
Illegal defense (Rule 13, 14, 16) and backcourt defense (Rule 15), 1st violation is a warning, 2nd is an admin technical foul per half.
Only two coaches allowed on the bench with players. One must be seated at all times. If the head coach is assessed a direct or indirect tech foul he must remain seated for the game.

Substitutions only at the 10 minute mark in the 1st half. Open substitution in the 2nd half. Players must play in both halves. If a player is substituted for within the 10 minute time, player cannot return to the game unless an injury occurs.
Game length 2-20 minutes halves.
Time will be running clock except for time outs. Rule 6, and the last 2 minutes of the 2nd half when clock will stop for free throws, any violations and time outs, unless lead is 15+points. Clock will stop for all technical fouls.

All Games are full court.
All games are 5 on 5. 6U ay start a game with 4 on 4.
Each game will start with a jump ball.
Possession will alternate each quarter/half, jump ball or double foul.
Teams will take free throws positions as normal block allows.
Half time is a maximum of 3 minutes.
Two time outs per half, no carryovers. 30 second each.
Home team is listed first on schedule.
League jersey must be worn for all games unless approved by a league official. Violation will result in one technical foul charged directly to the head coach when player wears an illegal jersey. Team must wear matching shorts, not provided, for all games. Game management may enforce this rule at any time during the game if not previously assessed by game officials.
Regulation scoring with three pointers on courts marked.
Coaches must verify team score sheet before each game.
Unsportsmanlike conduct will result in a technical foul and possession of ball.
A 3 minute overtime period with a running clock, except for timeouts, will be played in a case of a tie. One timeout per coach during this period. If a game is not won during the overtime period, a 3 minute sudden death will be played. First team to score wins.
