- Half time is a maximum of 3 minutes.
- Two time outs per half, no carryovers. 30 second each.
- Home team is listed first on schedule.
- League jersey must be worn for all games unless approved by a league official. Violation will result in one technical foul charged directly to the head coach when player wears an illegal jersey. Team must wear matching shorts, not provided, for all games. Game management may enforce this rule at any time during the game if not previously assessed by game officials.
- Regulation scoring with three pointers on courts marked.
- Coaches must verify team score sheet before each game.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct will result in a technical foul and possession of ball.
- A 3 minute overtime period with a running clock, except for timeouts, will be played in a case of a tie. One timeout per coach during this period. If a game is not won during the overtime period, a 3 minute sudden death will be played. First team to score wins.
- Game time is forfeit time, no grace period allowed. Any team that forfeits two or more games during the season may not b eligible for tournament play.
- Undershirts may be worn. All team members must wear same color undershirts or none. No cut off sleeves allowed.
- Cloths wristbands may be worn. Only a single item may be worn on each wrist, and it must be worn below the elbow and not on the legs.
- Compression sleeves are not allowed on the arms or legs, unless with a written prescription from physician is verified.
- Mercy rule will implemented when a team leads by more than 20 points in the 2nd half.
- Mercy rule – Score keeping clock will be turned OFF when a team has a 20 point or more lead over its opponent.
- If a team starts to comeback within 15 points and 2 minutes left in the game, teams will evaluated by SOA Directors to turn score keeping back on. These requirements are a must in all mercy rule evaluations.
- If mercy rule is implemented, score keeping will only continue at the time keeping table.

that I coach and will teach the rules to my players.

a positive attitude, and good sportsmanship to all my players on and

that the game is for children, not adults.
- I will adhere to the Coach’s Code of Conduct
while representing Stone Oak Athletics at all practices, games, and
events.

- I (and my guests) will encourage good sportsmanship
by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, and officials
at every game, practice or other Stone Oak Athletics event.
- I (and my guests) will not engage in any kind of
unsportsmanlike conduct with any official, coach, player, or parent
such as booing and taunting, refusing to shake hands, arguing calls
or coaching decisions, or using profane language or gestures.
- I will place the emotional and physical well being
of my child ahead of my personal desire to win.
- I will never ridicule or yell at my child or other
participant for making a mistake of losing a competition.
- I will insist that my child play in a safe and healthy
environment.
- I will require that my child’s coach be trained
in the responsibilities of being a Stone Oak Athletics coach and that
the coach upholds the Coach’s Code of Conduct.
- I will support coaches and officials working with
my child, in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience
for all.
- I will demand a sports environment for my child that
is free from drugs, tobacco and alcohol and will refrain from their
use at all Stone Oak Athletics events.
