The Golden Crescent Raiders season opening football game will be on March 5th, 2011 against the Victoria Texans at Patti Welder Stadium.

December 18, 2010
On Saturday December 18th from 1-5PM, the community will have an opportunity to come out and meet the Golden Crescent Raiders semi-professional football team at Victoria East High School (in the cafeteria). The team has partnered with Blue Santa in an effort to benefit Toys for Tots. There will be a toy drive for which the community will be asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the deserving children in the community. There will be door prizes for those who bring toys (the more toys you bring the better your chance to win a door prize), a moon bounce and face painting for the kids, with lots of food, music, and fun! We've had a phenomenal response from several local vendors who also want to be a part of this worthy cause.

We are very pleased to announce that attending this event will be former NFL Pro-Bowl running back and co-owner of the Golden Crescent Raiders Priest Holmes as well as NBA Hall of Famer George "The Ice-Man" Gervin! There will be something for everyone, and with your help we know that this event will have a great turnout from the members of the Victoria community as well as the surrounding areas.
