Coach's Corner
Fans and Future Raiders:
First and foremost, I would like to welcome you all to the Golden Crescent
Raiders! Team owners Priest Holmes and Anthony Warren are very excited
to be a part of a great community with such a strong and rich history
of gridiron excellence. This level of excitement has been contagious as
we are off to a very fast start in recruiting the best athletes in the
area! I can unequivocally say the 2011 GC Raiders are shaping up to be
the
premier team in the South Texas Amateur Football League.
It gives me great pleasure to be the Head Coach of this amazing organization.
My number one priority is to ensure that we provide this community with
a winning team that is committed to achieving excellence on and off the
field. Having a family friendly environment that is focused on developing
strong values, character and leadership are the
expectation and standard for our entire team.
It has been the dream of many to have an organization of this caliber
in the Golden Crescent. With that being said, I would like to thank everyone
involved in making this dream a reality. Our season kicks off in March
and we are all looking forward to a hard hitting, action packed first
year as we fight to earn a Championship for the Golden Crescent at the
River City Bowl in 2011!
